PAGADIAN
CITY: People’s Plaza, located along Fajares Street, this city, was ransacked by
unidentified burglars bringing with them assorted jewelry, Tuesday, Oct. 21,
police said.
Police
Regional Office 9 (PRO9), Office in-charge Insp. Dalhan Samuddin clarified that only a lone
intruder did the carting with ease stealing 925 assorted silver Italy necklaces
and bracelets amounting to P210,000 more or less.
The
police officer added that said the still unidentified man hid somewhere inside
the store before closing time and ransacked the place, then later on destroyed
the padlock of the cubicle stand were the jewelry were placed and took the
items.
Several
clothes were found tied at the fourth floor, which the police said, is likely the
escape route of the suspect by using it as a rope.
Moreover,
the suspect ate a piece of cake, 3 lollipops and drank sterilized milk at the
grocery section.
As
of press time, police are still trying to establish the identity of the suspect
for his arrest.
