DE ORO CITY: The Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC-10) have enjoined bus
companies to assign bus stops and observe strict security measures.
Lawyer
Rene Burdeos, DILG regional director, said RPOC’s meeting last week threshed
out necessary action and points as a result of the bus explosion in Maramag, Bukidnon,
which killed 10 passengers and wounded 42.
Burdeos
also said that RPOC’s discussion left few suggestions, among this is for LTFRB to
communicate to bus companies plying the region to designate bus stop sections along
routes in coordination with the PNP.
The
Regional Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee (RLECC) likewise requested in
its resolution that bus operators and companies implement preventative security
measures.
This

to and fro designated bus terminals.
It
can be recalled that various agencies, law enforcement and security agencies, as
