OROQUIETA CITY: The Misamis
Occidental Electric Cooperative, Incorporated (MOELCI) 1 has announced an scheduled
power interruption in its franchise area, this coming Jan. 17 and 18, that is Saturday
and Sunday.
The two-day power interruption is
set from 6:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon, as most of the offices
and schools are closed at the time, therefore less transactions are affected,
Ruben P. Bonalos, MOELCI-1 general manager, said.
Bonales added the power
interruption will again be due to the retirement and removal of dilapidated
poles and installation of new ones, as well, as stringing of bare wires.
Mainly, the power interruption on Saturday
will be due to those activities involving Feeder 2 (F2V), along Oroquieta North
District towards Lopez Jaena town in the north-western part of the province.
That of Sunday, Jan. 18, will
involve Feeder 1 (F1V), along Oroquieta South District towards Aloran town in
the eastern part and F2V, as well, Bonalos said.
This is the second weekend, this
month, that MOELCI has scheduled the power interruption for the same reasons.
