Pagadian City:
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) will conduct a Regional
Poverty Reduction Action Team (RPRAT) to the regional directors and focal
persons from 15 participating agencies on Thursday, Nov. 6, Hotel Guillermo
here.
Also
in attendance are the NAPC Regional and Provincial Focal Persons, Regional
Project Coordinator and the Community Organizers of Zamboanga Peninsula.
The
said meeting discussed prevailing issues and concerns in agencies and present
respective program menus for the Grassroots Participatory Projects in two
years.
Following
the regional poverty team is followed by its counterparts in the local level,
the LPRAT, where an orientation will given on Nov. 7 and 8 for Zambosur and on Nov.
10 and 11 for Zamboanga del Norte and on Nov. 13-14 for Sibugay, Zamboanga City
and Isabela.
The
orientation will highlight joint Memorandum Circular No. 5, the presentation of
project menus per agency and the discussion on the challenges and issues
encountered.
After
the workshop, the LGUs are expected to conduct their respective preparations of
the LPRAP from middle of November 15 up to first week of December.
